Dear Bridges Learning Center,
It is an honor to introduce myself as the new principal of Bridges Learning Center and to join this extraordinary school community.  I can assure you that I share in this school community’s commitment to caring for your student each and every day while providing them an exceptional learning environment.

I arrive to Bridges Learning Center as a seasoned secondary teacher and building principal of over twenty years, but in addition to my role as an educator, I am first and foremost a father and husband. In September of 2021, my daughter Julie became a teacher.  My wife Chris supports the work I do each and every day and I am grateful for her support.  I look forward to introducing myself to the many wonderful people that call Bridges “home” in the near future.

My greatest initiativ is to provide the leadership that will facilitate a school environment to provide differentiated instruction, while upholding the Moreno Valley Unified School District’s 11 commitments, to meet the needs of each student to the best of our ability. The educational program must be academically challenging, engage each student by linking the curriculum to previous knowledge and experience, and also be exciting to promote further exploration of new ideas. Parents, teachers, support staff, and administration all have an important role to encourage our students to become active learners. It is my sincere desire to provide expanded opportunities for our students to acquire the skills to become productive citizens in a vastly changing society.

I view education as a life-long process and continue to learn every year from our students, teachers, and parents at Bridges Learning Center.   Most importantly, I believe that students are at the center of all school-related decisions.  Because the relationships between families and the school are vital to the success of our students, I encourage you to become involved in every way possible.  I look forward to meeting you soon!

Sincerely,

Mr. Arthur Sanchez Jr.
Principal
Bridges Learning Center

American writer and scholar Ralph Ellison once said, “Education is all a matter of building bridges.”  As an educator and parent, my goal is to make connections and to provide support that lead students towards academic success.  The work that educators do impacts both adults and children who we serve each day.  I have worked as an educator for more than twenty years.  SInce joining the leadership team in Moreno Valley Unified, I found that the community of learners and my esteemed colleagues embody excellence on purpose.  It is my pleasure to work alongside our team.
