Attendance

In our Independent Study program, attendance is measured by timely work completion. Students are expected to complete assigned work within 3 days of the assignment date to remain in good standing.

If assignments are not completed on time or if scheduled teacher meetings are missed, students may be required to make up missed work or instructional time during weekly Learning Labs.

Consistent participation is essential for student success. Excessive absences, missed teacher appointments, or ongoing incomplete work may result in academic interventions and family meetings.

Students who are not making adequate academic progress or who are failing coursework may be considered for placement in another program at our site or may be returned to their school of residence at the discretion of school administration.
