The Moreno Valley Online Academy (MVOA) is Accredited through the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC), and is designed to support students in grades TK through 12th grade who are looking for an alternative option that involves input from parents and students. We offer small class sizes and every student possesses their own individualized learning plan designed to best support their academic pathway.
The benefits of MVOA also include one to one support, small group instruction, highly qualified certificated teachers, and a highly qualified counselor to address students academic, career, and personal/social needs. Students enrolled in MVOA also have the opportunity to take part in extracurricular activities through their home schools, which include, but not limited to, participation in sports, ROTC, band, theatre, and ASB.
As a part of the Moreno Valley Unified School District, we gladly service all students who are interested in an alternative educational option, at no cost to you, with all the support and services afforded by the school district.
For all students interested in MVOA, you start the process by visiting your counselor at your home school. For example, if your student is enrolled with Palm Middle School, the student and parent/guardian would make an appointment with the counselor at Palm to request the change and start the process.
